general likes - messy relationships, enemies in love, villains in love. that fine line between hate and lust. WEREWOLVES. monsters. ghosts. vampires. stories where the monsters aren't the villains. stories where monsters are the villains but we're on their side. twisted romance. monster romance. gothic horror. age gaps. bisexual characters. polyamory. horror/monsters stories through a queer lens. strong women, weak women, good women, bad women, messy women, all the women. unrepentant assholes. awful people being awful. awful people trying to be good. awful people trying to be good, but for the wrong reasons. awful people trying to be good, for the wrong reasons, and failing miserably. lima syndrome. captivity. stockholm syndrome. bargaining with bad people and offering yourself in the place of others. mythology. eldritch beings. eldritch beings and mortal women (not necessarily romantically but not necessarily not romantically). lots of ancient egyptian mythology in mummy related fic.
the caveats DNWs - graphic torture/gore - including some torture/gore in the story is okay as long as it isn't super descriptive or focused on. (think the first couple of Saw films as opposed to 3 and onward). no sexual/genitalia focused torture or gore though, please.
graphic child abuse - establishing that characters have suffered child abuse is fine (example - the kids in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake or Jacob Goodnight in See No Evil). referencing canon child abuse is ok, but please no graphic descriptions or explicit "on screen" abuse.
child death - mentions of canon child death is fine. for Skinwalkers stories where the villains win, Timothy dying is a-okay, I would just prefer that it not be super graphic/violent.
rape/violent non-con - extremely dubious consent (like fuck or die, letting someone fuck you to survive, sex to protect someone else, that kind of thing) and implied/referenced non-con are fine.
non-canonical character death - obviously in horror/dark fiction people are going to die, including those who might otherwise live in their respective canons. with this I just ask that the requested characters you choose to focus on live at least until the very end.
bleak/hopeless endings - with horror fiction, I am not opposed to dark or "bad" endings per se, but ones that are very cruel or bleak or just convey a sense of hopelessness (examples - The VVitch, Eden Lake). I don't mind darker or open endings, or even endings where my requested characters die so long as it doesn't feel pointless. I don't mind an ending where a final girl dies if she takes the killer down with her, I don't mind the killer getting away to slay again but prefer if the "hero" also survives (even if they are unaware of the potential danger coming back after them). hopefully this isn't too muddled but I'm happy to answer any questions you may have through the mods, and I’ll understand if this is too vague or “boxy” to enforce.
extreme body horror - think David Cronenberg levels of body horror. I think grody, gory transformations (like with werewolves) are interesting, but the puss-laden, oozy transformation in The Fly remake is way too squicky for me.
DNWs - scat/vomit; inflation; slave; non-consensual humiliation; spanking; a/b/o; mpreg; sounding; infantalization; vore; eye horror; finger/toe torture; major underage sex (preferably 16 if other partner is much older, 15 is okay if both characters are under 20)
genderswapping; kink shaming; non-consensual infidelity/cheating; character or relationship bashing (such as propping up one character/ship to tear down another - acknowledging if a character or relationship is unhealthy, abusive, that sort of thing is totally fine); strong jealousy/insecurity especially as a plot point; original characters (unless they're minor/background); miscommunication as a plot device; pregnancy fic; redeemed by The One; easy redemption arcs
Stories that deal heavily with or focus on racism/homophobia/xenophobia/biphobia/transphobia/acephobia; bi erasure; animal abuse; blasphemy; heavy religious themes or plots; satanism
Skinwalkers specific: Varek/Sonja fic where Sonja is second choice/a replacement for Rachel. Unrequested pairings for Sonja or Varek. References to previous relationships is fine. Caveat: Sonja/Varek/Rachel or poly villain pack.

the caveats DNWs - graphic torture/gore - including some torture/gore in the story is okay as long as it isn't super descriptive or focused on.

Zombies! I love zombies, and what's better than combining a game I deeply with zombies? Seeing Kamurocho fall apart like that was kinda cool, not gonna lie. Anything here from the game-typical levels of silly, to downright serious and horror, to Kiryu and Majima being unwilling battle couple during the zombie apocalypse (and dealing with Majima's obsession with Kiryu ;D ) would please me!

Summary
Cast from the Judgment game meet the Ayuwoki (see my Ayuwoki request for a bit of info on the game). Would love it if the victim was either kidnapped by the Ayuwoki as some form of plot by Kuroiwa or a rival yakuza gang who knew about this strange monster who was the result of a ritual gone wrong.
Could also be about Kaito and Yagami (and Sugiura) who were trying to vacation together for a lover's resort and then things end up going south. I love those premises in horror stories. 🖤

Summary
"Just be quiet and everything will be alright." I love the premise of this survival horror game (available on Steam). It's easy enough to grasp and yet your nerves get the best of you. This monster digs at a basic, primal level of fear and terror. I love the lore exploring the ritual of how we ended up with the Ayuwoki, and that's always welcome here. The fic can focus on either the MC themself or another person(s) who've been kidnapped. Perhaps even something set during the winter?

Summary
-Trevor Herbert & Julia Montauk: There’s a whole big gap between their originating statements and when they pop back up in the main story; what were they up to in that time? A wintery monster hunt during their spell in America, a holiday they spent together early in their partnership, a survival horror situation where they find themselves trapped somewhere remote
-Mary Keay: Mary is so fantastically horrible and I just want to roll around in it forever. So anything with Mary being her awful self, tracking down Leitners, experimenting with powers beyond her full knowledge, manipulating and using anyone and everyone around her, would be great. Further encounters she had with Gertrude or other Archives employees over the years, or something from Gerry or Eric’s perspective about her as a mother or wife. If you’re feeling a little stylistically experimental, I love statement pastiches, so another statement she gave or a statement from someone else about her could be a lot of fun.
DNW: Explicit non-con (implied/referenced is fine, dub-con is fine), A/B/O, soulmates/soulmarks, setting change AUs (coffee shop, high school, etc; canon-divergence or what-if scenarios are great though!), scat/watersports, beastiality, explicit underage sex (under 16 for these purposes).

Summary
-Ruby Baptiste: Ruby was by far my favorite character in the show (and the book) and frankly I would love just about anything about her. Backstory fic about her growing up as a child and young adult, maybe a Christmas she spent with Leti, or a post-canon (fix-it?) fic. I interpreted her status at the end of the season as in a coma like William and Dell - what happens if she wakes up? How does she react to everything that happened in the finale? Maybe she experiments with magic on her own or finds other connections to it - I really like the way magic was presented in the show and I’d love something exploring that with Ruby.
-Ruby Baptiste/Christina Braithwhite: Likewise, I love this relationship like crazy. I’d love something set during the span of the show, or something set later that ignores Christina’s ultimate fate (or, hell, there’s magic in this universe, a potentially messy resurrection could be totally plausible and fun to explore). The two of them negotiating a relationship after everything that’s happened, making a holiday meal together, getting into magic together - and I love the idea of food-based magic so feel free to roll those last two ideas together.

Summary
-Anna | The Huntress: The Huntress’ backstory is perfect for snow-covered horror; something about her growing up, either before or after her mother’s death. She was alone out in the wilderness from a young age and I’d love anything about that part of her life, from childhood to adulthood. Alternately, I love outsider POV; an unlucky person or persons who stumble into her territory and encounter her would be a lot of fun. I’d also love to see what she thinks of the Trials and her new life as a killer for the Entity; is it just an extension of her previous existence? Or does she want to get back?
-Charlotte & Victor Deshayes | The Twins: These two! I love codependent siblings and they’re a more literal example than most. I’d love something about their childhood, living in secrecy with their mother, or during their time as captives of the group that ultimately killed Victor, or Charlotte in the intervening years between Victor’s death and being taken by the Entity - the idea of her spending years clinging to survival with nothing in the world but the undecomposing corpse of her brother is horrifically sad. I’m also down for something about them later on - maybe Victor talks to Charlotte in some way, or she thinks she hears him? Who are the black cloaked figures after them - a cult of the Entity or something else?
DNW: Explicit non-con (implied/referenced is fine, dub-con is fine), A/B/O, soulmates/soulmarks, setting change AUs (coffee shop, high school, etc; canon-divergence or what-if scenarios are great though!), scat/watersports, beastiality, explicit underage sex (under 16 for these purposes).

the caveats DNWs - graphic torture/gore - including some torture/gore in the story is okay as long as it isn't super descriptive or focused on.
Caveat: Sonja/Varek/Rachel or poly villain pack.

child death - mentions of canon child death is fine. for Skinwalkers stories where the villains win, Timothy dying is a-okay, I would just prefer that it not be super graphic/violent.
rape/violent non-con - extremely dubious consent (like fuck or die, letting someone fuck you to survive, sex to protect someone else, that kind of thing) and implied/referenced non-con are fine.
non-canonical character death - obviously in horror/dark fiction people are going to die, including those who might otherwise live in their respective canons. with this I just ask that the requested characters you choose to focus on live at least until the very end.
bleak/hopeless endings - with horror fiction, I am not opposed to dark or "bad" endings per se, but ones that are very cruel or bleak or just convey a sense of hopelessness (examples - The VVitch, Eden Lake).

− trauma to the eye (mentions/allusions to it, the way it was depicted in Judgment canon, is fine!)
− underage (under 15)
− scat
- issuefic that focuses on social justice themes
− incest (sibling, parent-child, cousins, etc) unless explicitly requested
− infidelity/disloyalty between couples (doesn't count for hero/villain type or dark ships, or open relationships)

− noncon situations where the rapist is someone a character knows and trusts, and there isn't an outside contributing factor (as in: is being forced by bad guys/mind controlled/possessed by an evil force/etc).

I remember watching this movie a while back and just being in love with it. I don't have any specific prompts for it but I am here for anything involving Robert, his dog, the scary Darkseekers, his old family, and navigating a dying world. Perhaps Robert and Sam pulling something together for the holidays after the whole mess began?

Medium: Fiction
Theme: Canon Atypical Horror, Theme: Canon Typical Horror, Theme: No Theme, Theme: Winter Seasonal
